NEWS AND UPDATES - ARCHIVE Tuesday, July 25, 2006: Updating The EOS web team for the busy Tampa Bay advertising agency is working on the Dream Nine Studios site today and tomorrow. The navigation buttons will be reformatted and new Diana Class CSS code will be used to overhaul the site structure (this site will become the most advanced Diana Class site). Although we now know that this company will not be doing any major projects until sometime in 2008 (with the music label division even further out at 2009 or 2010), this site will be fully operational by the fall of 2006 and will be regularly updated as we work toward full production capability. We will be adding the last Reverence script draft and other scripts, treatments, and stories to an online library. We will even recommend some outstanding actors and talent to other production companies (we'll do what we can do until we can do what we were meant to do). We will also be putting together a team and going some creative experiments in the remainder of 2006 and 2007. It's possible that small experimental projects and even some video games will be completed and released next year as we put our infrastructure together. Dream Nine Studios production teams will begin work supporting other Passinault.Com company projects and marketing efforts next year! By the end of this decade, fueled by a river of funds from other Passinault.Com companies, we will more than make up for the lack of specific projects that we haven't rolled out in the past seven years with an unparalleled line of released projects. We really don't take shortcuts and rush anything out. Reverence Forever.
Friday, September 30, 2005: In Development According
to an update today from Executive Producer C. A. Passinault, Dream Nine
Studios will not even attempt a production project until at least 2007.
Mr. Passinault is adamant about not doing anything until the company
is ready, and has no wish to repeat the Reverence production
attempt of 2001-2003. He has confirmed that the creativity and the production
values of upcoming projects will help change the Florida independent
film market and set a new high-bar of expectations of what an independent
film maker should be able to do with restricted budgets. He stressed
that he is very serious about independent film in Florida, and that
work is in progress to bring it to the level of where it should be.
If Hollywood ever pays attention to Florida, it will be because of what
is coming from us and our industry partners. As it is now well known,
Dream Nine Studios will also be developing video games and will be an
independent music label. Those production lines will not begin until
at least 2008, and we will be announcing more about those markets and
how we will benefit from this tri-production business model sometime
in the near future. ##################
Wednesday, July 13, 2005: Operations Holding It was revealed today by Executive Producer C. A. Passinault that Dream Nine Studios operations and development would be on indefinite hold until sometime in the next 24 months. Our producer was specific in his continued dedication and commitment to this company, and stated that the combined motion picture, video game, and music label production company will be a major part of the future of the Passinault Entertainment Group. "At this point, putting Dream Nine Studios on standby is of little consequence, as we must concentrate on other business endeavors at this time." C. A. Passinault stated, "Once those business endeavors are at the level that they need to be, we will have unlimited financial and support resources available for Dream Nine Studios. As you can see, a lot of work was done to create the new web site, which is currently 90% complete. We have suspended work with the company until we're able to see our commitment through. Once we are ready, we will first complete the web site. Then, we will put together production teams, operate with an influx of resources from the other Passinault.Com companies, and begin work on our first productions. At this point, there may be questions about Dream Nine Studios' ability to succeed. It has never been an "if". It's always been a "when", and we will take as much time as we need to do this right."
NEWS: Tuesday, May 3, 2005 Something Good Is About To HappenThe EOS web team renewed our domain name today, with a strong indicator that an upgraded Dream Nine Studios web site will debut in the next few days. Although Dream Nine Studios is not slated to officially start production until Spring of 2006, we will start finalizing infrastructure this month and may do some limited production work starting next month. Our upgraded web site will be needed for the marketing and networking that we will be doing this year. The new "upgraded" Dream Nine Studios site will have new copy and will be an extension of the present design, formatted as a modern Diana Class web site much like the ones that sister company Eventi Events now has and parent company Passinault.Com will have this week. As it is well known, the present Eventi Events web site was directly derived from work on our new site. In related developments, new Dream Nine Studios marketing material will be finished this week. As of today, Executive Producer C. A. Passinault released a late draft version of the script for the cancelled Reverence film to be featured on the new site and authorized the inclusion of several of his film related fiction work. The exclusive content will be accessible on the new Dream Nine Studios site, as will other features covering our entertainment concepts and philosophies. The featured material is required for marketing purposes, and it should be noted that copyrights still apply. The new Dream Nine Studios site will have brand new sections selectable from the main menu. Compare these with our present menu above. A lot has changed in the last year. As you can see, the site is about to get a whole lot larger: 01. News 02. About Us 03. Investors 04. Careers 05. Auditions (Industry Auditions) 06. Productions (Motion Pictures, Video Games, and Music) 07. Features (Sample Scripts, Extras, Sponsorship, and Articles) 08. Events (Industry related events and events with sister company Eventi Events) 09. Store 10. Links 11. Contact Us 12. Passinault.Com Information courtesy of Tampa Bay advertising agency and Passinault.Com company EOS MediaArts. Expect a lot to happen this month as resources are poured into our company and work proceeds towards large scale operations next year. There is a lot more information to be announced, but we will keep it under wraps until a future date.
NEWS: Sunday, March 27, 2005 On Hold Until 2006We have a new lease on life. After being put on ice for several months, and with the powers-that-be in eternal debate regarding everything from a company name change to a complete re-organization, they have decided to not only keep our name but to put major resources behind us. We were going to push production hard this year, but we decided that we were not ready and our support infrastructure could not support us as much as we needed to be supported. We will be redoing our business plan and making major changes here. What this means is that this web site will see few updates until the new site launches, and we'll be in excellent shape when it does in early 2006. The EOS design team does like the design of the current site, and will be building on it once again as it improves upon the existing foundation. Expect a partnership with a casting company and a Tampa film festival next year, as well as a plethora of quality, creative projects ranging from online flash shorts to full motion pictures. Motion Picture development will only be one-third of what we will do, however, as the new Dream Nine Studios will also be a video game developer and a music label! Toward the end of the decade, Dream Nine Studios, a Passinault.Com company, will be the largest and most profitable of all the companies, with EOS MediaArts, Eventi Events, and Aurora PhotoArts right behind us in earnings. As usual, we are going to work hard and take our time. With something this important, we have to do it right the first time out the gate. In 2006, we intend to erase the fiasco that was Reverence and some other stillborn projects. One thing that we are changing, and this is a promise, is that we will not have auditions for anything in the future that is not ready to go with funding, insurance, permits for locations, a crew, and a schedule- If there are any delays in the future, it would be over casting issues and nothing else. There are so many talented professionals in Florida, however, that we don't see casting as a problem; we will also be considering SAG experimental contracts. Thank you all for your patience, and we look forward to producing the best projects in the near future! Sincerely, C. A. Passinault Executive Producer Dream Nine Studios Tampa Bay, Florida
NEWS: Saturday, December 4, 2004 Web Site Upgrades ComingWe are working on upgrading the Dream Nine Studios web site, and the revised site will be available in the coming weeks. The television production section is going to change into something else, as we no longer plan on doing television work. Currently, Dream Nine Studios will be focusing on independent film production, video game development, and something else that will benefit the other two but we cannot get into at the present time. Let's just say that you'll hear the announcement when we make it. Our production infrastructure is shaping up nicely, and we will have projects done in 2005.
NEWS: Saturday, December 4, 2004 Dream Nine Studios To Back Film FestivalDream Nine Studios has signed as a sponsor and a co-producer of a new kind of film festival due in the Tampa Bay area sometime in 2005. The film festival is now being designed by our sister company, theme event production company eventi events (formerly known as Dimension Stageforms). More is to come.
NEWS: Monday, October 11, 2004 Film Festival Series NamedWe have named our film festival series that is currently in development, and have already began recruiting vendors and sponsors for next year. Dimension Stageforms, our sister company which produces events, is producing it. The film festival domain name was obtained today, and the web site will be up near the end of this year. We can't tell you the name yet, as the Trademark is still being filed. This film festival series should be the most innovative film festival concept to ever hit Florida, and one reason that we are doing our own is that we have not seen any venues in Tampa Bay, other than the large film festivals, that we would like to be involved with. If it isn't there, you have to create it.
NEWS: Monday, October 11, 2004 Talent TrendsOur attorney told us today that we could no longer accept unsolicited scripts due to complications that could arise. Someone keeps trying to send us a script, and we cannot accept it. We've also been getting some strange calls. If you wish to write for us, please send a resume, a cover letter, and samples of your work that is ALREADY published (such on a web site), and we may interview you. Currently, we have no shortage of talent such as actors, musicians, and singers. We ARE short on production people, and are working to change that. One reason for that is that we are a bit selective, and we don't see a whole lot in the Tampa Bay area that inspires us. If you have production skill, contact us for an interview. You are more than welcome to ask questions and evaluate us while we evaluate you. We will take our time in compiling the best resources. We would rather delay production than rush out poor quality films that could hurt our credibility. So, until early next year, this will remain Tampa Bay's best kept secret and a company without films to show. It will be worth the wait; by this time next year, everyone will understand.
NEWS: Monday, October 11, 2004 Studio Operations Still OfflineJeanne, the last Hurricane, prompted another studio evacuation. The Geomedia 3 production facility is still in disarray. Aurora PhotoArts had a backlog of business and had to get their operations up first, locking the studio down from us until now because of their work, and there is an aweful lot of web site development going on right now with EOS MediaArts. We should be back up by next week, and then WE have to catch up.
NEWS: Thursday, September 2, 2004 Dream Nine Studios Declares Emergency: Here We Go AgainAnother Hurricane is currently forecast to directly hit just east of the Tampa Bay area Saturday evening. This could result in damage to our Geomedia 3 facility, which is where Dream Nine Studios and the rest of the companies of the Passinault Entertainment Group operate out of. For more updates, see the news section of our sister company Aurora PhotoArts.
NEWS: Wednesday, August 18, 2004 Dream Nine Studios Resumes OperationsWe were spared of a Hurricane that would have been a category five and would have destroyed our Geomedia 3 facility. Dream Nine Studios is now up and running again. The studio had been gutted of everything, and it took five days to re-install the equipment and wire everything. The studio was not damaged, and we managed to do some maintenance and upgrades while we redid the facility. Our prayers go out to those south of the Tampa Bay area who were hit by this terrible disaster.
NEWS: Thursday, August 12, 2004 Dream Nine Studios Declares EmergencyA category three Hurricane is currently forecast to directly hit the Tampa Bay area tomorrow evening. This would result in the total loss of our Geomedia 3 facility, which is where Dream Nine Studios and the rest of the companies of the Passinault Entertainment Group operate out of. For more updates, see the news section of our sister company Aurora PhotoArts.
NEWS: Monday, June 21, 2004 Dream Nine Studios Adds Comment SectionWe added a comment section to our Investors area today, which reads more like a C. A. Passinault fan club. Often called a 21st century Da Vinci, our Renaissance man Mensa level (Einstein level IQ) Executive Producer has earned the respect of many diverse people. Our Producer is quite possibly one of the smartest and most talented people in Florida, not to mention the United Sates, and he is down to earth, too, with the ability to charm people. Read more HERE.
NEWS: Wednesday, June 2, 2004 Dream Nine Studios Launches Flash Project TeamDream Nine Studios announced today that it will be doing flash animated shorts and features which can be downloaded and purchased directly from the web. The projects will feature great stories, characters, and the storyboarding of conventional film, and will be a sort of interactive video comic. Of course, each project will need actors for voice over work, foley artists, animators, score composers, writers, and directors. The first project, due in 2005 and penned by C. A. Passinault, will be his series "The adventures of DJ Whiz Kid", which is based on a collection of stories that are more often than not derived from real life. Set in the Tampa Bay and Brandon area in 1990-1991, the series will have memorable characters such as the protagonist DJ Whiz Kid, Shawn Green, the Apple sisters, Tricky Micky, Talesha Brooks, Porter, Dixy Cup, the Lakeland Posse, the Alpha Beta Delta fraternity, the Alpha Omega Delta sorority, and many others. Most of the stories will be from the time leading up to the event riot of November 2, 1991, and the final episodes in the story arc will deal with the aftermath and the events leading up to starting over. The riot will be a two part episode, and after the original story arc is concluded additional episodes will be done based on anecdotes and inspired by adventures form different points in the era. The stories are expected to have mature themes and "R" rated content; there is so much material from this two year period that the entire series can be based from it. The "Television Production" section of this web site will be replaced by a "Media Project Production" section soon, and will still cover television production projects. Expect voice over actor casting to commence soon.
NEWS: Monday, May 24, 2004 Summer WorkThe Dream Nine Studios web site will be updated slowly over the Summer, as we have a lot of work to do in securing professional associations. Rest assured that we will be working hard behind the scenes, with some announcements due sometime this Fall. Our company has attracted the attention of some great production and performing talent, and while it may take a while to get to everyone who has inquired and is inquiring, we intend to interview all of our production contacts and select the best talent for future auditions. Have a great Summer, and feel free to contact us regarding open positions with our production company!
NEWS: Monday, May 24, 2004 Dream Nine Studios Connected To Independent Performer, IndependentPerformer.comOur new sponsored web resource, Independent Performer, is scheduled to launch this week! Independent Performer is a free, no obligation web resource for PRODUCTION PROFESSIONALS and TALENT, and will be the big site for all the ingredients of doing production work such as INDEPENDENT FILM in Florida. Dream Nine Studios will be using the resources of Independent Performer to network and assemble the infrastructure that we will need to fulfil our production goals. Independent Performer is the sister site to the popular Independent Modeling and Independent Acting talent web resources. Independent Acting is another web site sponsored in part by Dream Nine Studios. Independent Performer brings some new tools to the industry, and the latest tool exclusive to the new site is the TALON™ system, which is now operational. TALON™, which is short for TALent ONline, is an advanced artificial intelligence based system which monitors Internet talent and production forums and E-Mails for opinions, advice, basic knowledge, and attitudes. TALON™ cross references its information into the existing EIR/PMB/PAB Reference database that all three web resources share in order to supply professional references to the industry. In some cases, TALON™ will adjust EIR/PMB/PAB scores, which will affect the ability of people in the industry to be considered for auditions and bookings. The goal of this system is to make everyone professionally accountable for their career, which makes the audition process much more effective and lends credibility to talent being booked independently without an agency involved. To those familiar with Independent Modeling's Professional Model Bureau, or PMB, the PMB is Independent Modeling's name for the SAME REFERENCE DATABASE that all three sites share. The Entertainment Industry Reference (EIR) database is Independent Performer's term for it, and the Professional Actor Bureau, or PAB, is Independent Acting's take. For more information on the EIR/PMB/PAB, see one of the mentioned web sites. Dream Nine Studios is a proud supporter of this system, which will become the standard for reference checks on talent and production professionals. All of our casting and production subcontractors will be using this system.
NEWS: Wednesday, April 21, 2004 Dream Nine Studios To Hold Back MarketingWith the new web site and updated information, Dream Nine Studios will not actively promote the site to the general entertainment community or drive any auditions until we are ready. So, what's with all the work on the site? It's for the investors and production people that we are presently in talks with as we build infrastructure muscle. Dream Nine Studios will hold back general marketing until we are ready to proceed with specific projects. Films are scheduled for production for the Fall of 2004 or early 2005 at this time. Roles that have been cast will be offered to the actors before being re-cast, and there will be plenty of warning to enable them to schedule it. If they choose to pass, that's fine. One thing that was done early on when this company was created was to invest heavily into the talent market, and our assets and resources are substantial. Dream Nine Studios is one of the best bets for quality Independent Films in the Tampa Bay area, or most of Florida, at that, and by 2006 we will be considered to be one of the best film production companies by fans and critics alike. Why? Because we intend to take our time and focus on writing, good actors, and quality. We also won't do "horror films" unless the script and production values are superb. There have been misunderstandings in the past with certain talent and even other film companies, and we intend to work on our communication skills a bit and put some issues and misconceptions to rest. We will say this much: Talent is one thing, but it takes a lot of time and hard work to do anything well, and if you are trying to establish yourself as a quality production company, you can't afford to be reckless and rush anything.
NEWS: Monday, April 19, 2004 New Game Concepts ApprovedA new game concept described as a space shooter cross of Omega Race, Gravitar, and Galaga was approved this morning. The shooter will feature strategic elements such as power up combinations and "orbiting" ships for a real time space battle action game. The space shooter has the working title of "Armada". Another concept is a SIMS gone wild party simulation called "Party Master", based on text adventure games that C. A Passinault made for the Commodore 64 back in 1988 titled "Friday Night Party Animal" and "Party Girl". "Party Master", which is a working title, will feature artificial life features with reactive and proactive behaviors making up the foundation of the game; it will be possible for the player character to go into the party and hang out with "friends", hit the dance floor, tend bar, DJ, pick up girls, or even start fights using contextual control. Both games are being developed for the PC in an old school arcade format with the emphasis to port them to the Gameboy Advance, and true to the Dream Nine Studios vision for video games, both games will be highly customizable by the player. "Party Master" will be an "M" rated game when it is released, with the player in full control of where the game goes in content.
NEWS: Wednesday, April 14, 2004 Reverence Motion Picture To Film In 2006C. A. Passinault announced today that a recent re-write of the Reverence script by Rachel Eaglin fixed all of the issues with the script. Great suggestions from the actors who read through the script back in February of 2003 were incorporated. Passinault also announced that actors already cast into roles would be given priority when production began, and once the budget and production is scheduled that they would be given the option to accept their roles before any additional casting is done. Reverence had been iced in October of 2003, but recent developments in production infrastructure are ahead of schedule, and the project is looking excellent at this stage due to the new script. Due to the size of the Reverence project, and to get production crews up to speed, Dream Nine Studios will film small film projects, film Rachel Eaglin's Inducing Manic, and get a new kind of film festival launched in 2005 to pave the way for Reverence. A lot of work remains to be done.
NEWS: Wednesday, April 14, 2004 New Dream Nine Studios Site LaunchedEOS MediaArts finally finished the new Dream Nine Studios web site, and it was launched today! True to the teams word, they kept the basic design and overhauled it with improvements! Updates that are coming include an online investor section and more announced projects. In other news, Reverence has been improved and approved for production in 2006. Dream Nine Studios will begin filming short films in 2005, however. Check out the new site and let us know what you think about the improvements!
NEWS: Friday, March 26, 2004 Changes Are ComingAs announced back in December, the Dream Nine Studios web site is going to be upgraded. We have not abandoned this company or forgotten about our commitment to create some of the most creative, compelling independent film projects ever made. We have some really cool things in the works, and our first short film projects are now scheduled to be produced in 2005. The reason for the slow progress? We are working on production infrastructure and are presently expanding our financial resources (the two things that killed Reverence most of all). We are also expanding our influence on the talent market and now have processes in place to ensure a supply of some of the best actors and other talent possible. Expect some announcements, and some teasers, by May of 2004. We are also changing our trademarked slogan when EOS helps us re-brand.
NEWS: Monday, December 8, 2003 Dream Nine Studios Site To Be UpgradedPassinault.Com EOS MediaArts today announced that the Dream Nine Studios web site would be updated and upgraded for 2004. The web team stated that they were happy with the logo and the basic web theme now, so the new site will not have a different look. The upgrade will come in menus, file layout, new features, and content.

It is a Passinault.Com company and a part of the Passinault Entertainment Group. Dream Nine Studios was formed under the Passinault Entertainment Group in 1999. For the past eleven years, we have been developing infrastructure while the service companies of the Passinault Entertainment Group and Passinault Industries LLC have been working on expanding business. We have also been patiently waiting for technology to catch up with many of our ideas and concepts, which were way ahead of their time, so that we can finally proceed with them in a cost-effective manner. We are currently scheduled to begin operations sometime in 2010, eleven years after initial formation. Our company, which began live as an independent film production company, has evolved to become a indie film production, video game development, and music label company. All of our production lines are designed to assist others, which is one reason that it took us this long to get started, and this will give us an advantage in our production efforts.
